Tiny creatures and reconnecting
Last weekend I played at "Trollpinnen" at Huser Gård, Fenstad in Norway. Despite the weather being a bit unsure of where it wanted to go, it was a beautiful weekend and I'm so happy I was there!
When I participated at Trollpinnen last year, I only was able to attend one day. But to see those small faces light up as you just sit there and do your thing? That was so worth it! So when I was asked to come back not one but BOTH days, I really wanted to be part of this wonderful interactive play!
Huser Gård is a beautiful place with accommodations to stay over, but also the place where Trollpinnen is happening. Everywhere you go there are flowers and tiny creatures, chickens walking around freely and the river Vorma is rushing and babbling right beside the surroundings in the valley. It’s very idyllic.
Both days were sold out and there were a total of 11 groups passing through the nearby ravine until they ended up at the last place where the children would meet the ice queen they rescued and they would all receive magical markings on each pinn. I would close the play by plucking the harp.
The days were long and I was pretty tired, but also energized as I could be part of something that’s organised and arranged with so much love and dedication. I’m looking forward to the future and what’s coming next as Huser Gård will be sold. The owner passed away in december last year, but I heard that she wanted Trollpinnen to continue regardless. I hope we did her proud, I’m pretty sure we did!
Now it’s time to take it all a bit more easy. Today I went back to work and everything is going in full gear. Need to remind myself to breathe slowly and take things as they come.
It was therefor so nice to see that the sunflowers in our garden really start to make their way up to the sky! They’re getting big!
Hope you’re doing ok! Stay safe!
